My L3240 won't clear an 8' door. It's about 1/2 too tall. You could probably let some air out of the tires and get buy, but I put 9 foot doors in my house garage. My 60x80 building has a 12' door and my forklift hits it. If I only had 1 building I'd have to have a concrete floor, but I don't miss not having a slab in my 60x80 building. Obviously I do miss having one, but at the tune of about 20 grand to pour one it's not so bad.
