Crazyal nailed it... just got the "we're a little delayed phone call"... tractor left Kentucky on Friday. It's in Biloxi MS right now... looks like we won't see her until early tomorrow morning. Still excited!! Since I'm a newbie I didn't know the protocol - I think we'll just call her "the Bota"... technically she's a he... so "the Bota" works better anyway. :D

Does everyone refer to their tractor as a "she"? Even female owners?
We just call our "the tractor" or "the hoe" or "the piece-of-junk". But then we still have a Farmtrac :(

Been there. The one draw back so far to buying long distance is the delay in shipping. Once it shows up you forget all about it.

Absolutely not, there's nothing feminine about my tractor. :p

If ever I've implied a gender, it's been only through occasionally addressing him as the "little fella". Usually though, it's just "the Bota" or "the tractor".

This could all change though, if he ever starts giving me all sorts of trouble.

Congrats ITHINKICAN. Funny you mention the hoa. I had my B down at my house for some yard work and several people complained about having a TRACTOR parked in the neighborhood. I took longer than I intended to do the job to show my appreciation for their "support" even though all the properties benefited later from the effort. After a few weeks some wanted me to do work for them, so I guess most eventually accepted a little orange. I was getting the property ready to sell so ruffling a few feathers was not a problem. Most of the hoa ignored me and a couple are still in therapy LOL

It's been several days now and no work from ITHINKICAN. I guess the tractor showed up and he hasn't found the time yet to get off the seat and provide us the manditory pictures.

I am sorry it took so long to post photos. Thank you to everyone who assisted with the selection process. Our tractor arrived last Monday. My wife was the first person to sit inside the tractor. It was my first time to ever sit inside a tractor and my first time to ever operate one too. The first day I only spent a few minutes on the side lawn. Bota sat next to the house all week. Over this last weekend I mowed some pasture. It is a total blast!
We are very excited about this new phase of our life.

Wow, that sure is a whole mess of sweet Orange goodness! :licking:
Well, I think you paid your penance for making us wait by posting MANY GREAT photos!

Then, I realized how it looks disastrously out of place in your suburban landscape there, and thought "something has gone terribly, terribly awry in the Kubota Buying/Pricing forum!"

Well, I kind of lost track of you in your 67 different threads and whatnot :p, but then I sort of remembered you did say something about some other property, maybe quite a few acres to maintain.

Good thing you posted that last pic. All's right with the world again. :D

Very nice looking assemblage of equipment, you are going to really love it.

I have the same rotary cutter and was uncomfortable with the open back and put the chain guard kit on.
