That seems prety good, did you build it on the configurator, that way you can find MSRP and what kind of discount there is... I don't know if the discounts are sililsr between diffeent models. I know that in the car business there are models that the dealers are just giving away (By design of the manufacturer...) I doubt it is that bad with equipment...

OK, this thread is CRAZY!! I mean, this is a basic little budget tractor. But it has been turned inside out. Poor dealers won't hardly know half as well as anyone reading this. So go easy on them! I don't mean to accept total stupid stuff, but do cut them a little slack!

Sure can't wait to see what's next, 2320, 2520, 3000TWENTY cabs...

/ SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #102
Maybe I missed (there are a lot of posts in this thread) but does anybody know if there will be Deere supplied backhoe for this tractor - to compete with the BX23 and Massey GC2310?

/ SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #103
So far, I haven't dig up a clue... But i don't have any inside track...

But I do know that Deere considers this an 'economy' model. There will be things that won't be there, if for no other reason, to leave room for 'deluxe' models...

/ SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #104
Wow.. what a thread.. I understand the 2305 is suppose to be lower priced than the 2210, but how did the actual numbers compare?

Looking at the specs I am a little surprised/confused on some stuff, like: how much more the front axle will carry now (why increase it so much? Does this mean the FEL capacity will be greater?), that the hydraulics are less than the 2210 (although it isnt even a gal/min less), the 3ph capacity is less (although not many implements will max it out)...

I like that the fluids capacity are higher, and that the seat is suspended. Cant wait to hear about first hand experiences..

The configurator shows models 2320 & 2520 under the 47" snowblower attachment so that's a pretty clear indicator of whats to come.

From a previous reply:
( With that said,
and the announcement of the 2305,,
where do we think the next replacements will be?

2320, 4110 replacement at 22hp?
2520, 4115 replacement at 25hp?

any thoughts?

Looks like we are onto them!

Does anyone know if that seat will fit on the 2210? I sure hope, it looks more comfortable than that short seat I have.

/ SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #110
There is an "X Series to 2210 Seat Swap" thread (that isn't the exact name) that might help you...

/ SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #111
Better seat, but from what I can see on JD parts the seat suspension really isn't a big upgrade from the 2210. Still isn't as nice as the x-series conversion.

/ SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #112
Do the dealers know more than they're saying in order to get rid of the 2004/5 models before everyone starts ordering the newer models?

/ SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH #113
Ronster,

Not really. A lot of this post has come from Deere people or those with inside insight. That said, this is a business, and every unsold tractor is a cost and a liability. The thing going in the user's factor, is, that though the 2305 has incorporated improvements into its design, it does not do so in a way that 2210 owners are hit with a huge depreciation, or in other words, does not make every 2210 owner rush to trade their machine in. Kudos to Deere here! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I also don't beleive that 2210 inventory is very high, if it was, they would have held the release of the new ones until it
was depleted more.
There's always the people that don't want the new model also, they would rather have the proven, bug-free model instead of the fresh redesign.

AND,
The 2305's have shipped, are enroute. I bet some dealers
will have them today!!

JD and Dutch, those are two good points you make. It would be nice to know if they are comming out with something to compete with the B2630/3030. I've held off getting a new tractor since I sold my Cub 7234,and I'm not sure how much longer I can put off buying a tractor. My hands are starting to shake and my vision is beginning to blur. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

that's a good question,
As we have seen with the 3020 series, and 4020 series,
and now the 2305, they didn't really reinvent the lineup. No major changes in frames, or wheelbase etc. So far,
they basically have expanded models to include a wider range of HP within each frame size. If we end up with a 2320 and 2520, and they follow suit, I would imagine the 2520 to be a 4115 based machine, maybe a HP or so more, but still within the size and weight of what we had. I could be wrong, but if that is what we get, we still don't have a direct model to compete with those Kubota models. They seem to have the size of a 790, or maybe the 855, which no 4115 can compete against, although I think it's been attempted! And, the 3120/4210 jumps way up in weight, over all of them.
Time will tell!

I was at my local dealer in late July and asked about the "2210 replacement"l. He had one 2210 left and said he could not order anymore. However, when I asked him when the 2305 would be coming out he said not for several months, or until early 2006! Seeing that they are now shipping them I have to believe he was either uninformed or else didn't want to tip his hand about new ones showing up. Either way I was a little disappointed! This is the same dealer that denied any knowledge of the 2210 in the fall of 2002 after I had already seen the specs at JD's website......

Dutch

The Deere web site in the UK mentions that they will unveil 2 new 2000 twenty models at a September trade show. A 24 and a 26 hp unites. These are most likley a 2320 and a 2520.

Why is it that Deere here in the US won't give us these tidbits of info?
Well, it won't be long then, I'm sure in a couple weeks it will
be out.

Those Brits are outta control! They HAVE to be first to feel superior ever since they lost that war to us Yanks..! I understand their tractors have the steering wheel on the wrong side too! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
