Remember the poster that had his Hoe snapped onto a third SCV? Imagine how HIS dealer would hook this up.... Where DO you put the bungee cord...

This stuff is buried DEEP!

But, here is a pic of this kit from it's instructions,,
and it does say to hook they hydraulic line into the
yellow line on the tractor, which is supposed to be
the dump circuit.

From Deere Bulletin Commercial-05-60 (thanks JohnDeere2210) dated 1 August 2005, it says the following:

"The 2305 replaces the 2210 and builds on its legacy of success with more power, new styling, and additional features, including a new cruise control option. Best of all, the 2305 enters the market at an even lower price than the 2210 Compact Tractor!"

It makes you wonder how they accomplished this all -- anyway kudos to Deere for improving a tractor it was hard to imagine needed improvement! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Yeah, the lift cylinder has a quick coupler, so you lose dump to raise the deck. That should be OK on this size machine.

A lot of mowing would be done with the loader removed, this is a finish mower, not a shredder.

If you did have the loader on, your probably gonna use it to pick up rocks and stuff, and don't need to dump (as much)

hey, a diverter would be nicer, but this is an option.

I think I better go find some tidbit out, ol' Dutch is starting to show me Up!!

Deere has too many tractors of similar size and power. They should seriously consider paring down the selection. The X, 2305, 4010, 4110, and 4115 are way too close. They could lose the diesel option in the X, and get rid of the 4010 and 4110 and still have a very robust product line.

With that said,
and the announcement of the 2305,,
where do we think the next replacements will be?

2320, 4110 replacement at 22hp?
2520, 4115 replacement at 25hp?

any thoughts?

The 2305 is still a 2210 sized tractor with limited cat 1 hitch, so I'm sure they will keep some models between the 2305 and 3120,, but what could it be?

Look at Kubota's lineup around 30Hp. Deere needs a B3030 smasher...

If the price is going to be lower then 2210. Something has to be made alittle cheaper or not as good like more plastic.

B7800 smasher... those outsell 3030's almost 3-1. However at that point they would have to discount the new 2305 and intermediate models substantialy below where they are now if they are going to be price competitive.

So how do you hold the mower up with the loader coupler connected? What about mowing with the loader on? Would you dump the bucket and drive around with the loader raised so it does not drag on the ground. If they are going to do this, they should have done it with a diverter or some independant control, this does not seem like a great way to plumb the cylinder.
