Shift Modification for GC 2300

Just thought some may be interested in my shift modification. I love this unit to death but to be careful in close quarters I wanted something a little nicer to get in & out of tight spots. The idea is taken from the old 14 series tractors with the hydra speed stick. Idea is simple & still allows foot or hand control.Let me know what you think or have any questions.I would love to be able to approach Massey with this mod & let them use it. Any way of showing it to them & would like to come back in my next life as R & D or engineer for M.F. If anyone knows how to get in contact with their designers or engneers please let me know. Thanks

Wayne 165 Perhaps you could visit Massey's website, contact them ,that way.who says you have to wait till the next lifetime as soul any thing is possible , if you dream it you can achieve it.

I am with Daniel... BUT just remember no patent it isn't yours, when it comes to money no one is honest.

I like how it looks and I can only assume how it works, I am not a lucky one with a hydo. I think looking at it, I would like to see it shorter, maybe knee hight so this way you can rest your arm on your leg while using it (or is it knee hight?).

Also one more thing, I would make a bracket using a plate with some type of u-bolts (I am sure you can picture what I thinking of) to hold the bracket to the padel, this way even a 90 year old GrandMa could install it.

Yes lots of different ways of doing it . Do not want a million for the idea , I just wanted to let people know how I thought the machine could be improved & if Massey or anyone wants to use it feel free. Thanks for the replies.
