If you have one with doors at one end and regret not getting one with 2 doors, here is what you can do. Take a skill saw with and abrasive blade and cut the end out of the end of the container, cut it in half, and re-install it with hinges and a closing mechanism. Done right, there will be an 1/8th inch gap all around, just enough to let in some circulation, but too small for mice. Mine has been in use now for 5 years and no regrets.
