It sounds like a salesman response...who knows the truth. I agree there should be better communication. I received a little of the same and it was frustrating for sure & probably spent double on a tractor than what you did.

Then mine showed up with some wrong 3rd function connectors..with the ones I wanted just put in the cab. To me it was poor customer service after other issues but not the end of the world.

The good news on this all is since it’s a Kubota it shouldn’t have many issues!

From about March thru August, most tractor dealers are just slammed. Although I hate waiting for anything, I try to be reasonable as to my expectations. That tends to go a long way in getting a little bit of a "VIP" status and at times I've gotten to go ahead in line over some jerk.

Indeed agree with above. Sales guys have a fine line to walk with getting the deal and dealing with service/delivery etc.

I have been given similar ‘excuses’ when buying in January. Guess it just depends. As I always heard from my dad, good help is hard to find.

Busy time of the year. I too walked from my nearest dealer on at least 3 large purchases for unwillingness to come down any off their price which was higher than 2 more dealers.
id probably have asked if it was in stock and ready to go at time of doing paperwork.

Haha - no I didnt want this to turn i to a blow by blow investigstive report or for it to seem like I was being dramatic since many pointed out I was over blowing it.

It was delayed 2 or 3 more times. Loader frame bolts werent drilled right from factory they said, so they built a new tractor and then the new one has weld spatter in threaded holes so needed more time to prep, run taps in etc.

Dealership is super nice and working hard, but what concerns me is the quality of the manuf process at Kubota since they have had to up production to meet jump in demand. These things I expect from poor factory wa manuf like harbor freight china lowest bidder, etc. The dealer is ontop of their game for taking care of these issues and making sure i get a quality product, my concern is the things the dealer doesnt inspect and the longevity ilof those in a rushed manuf state, hydrstat, pumps, valves, etc. which they already had to replace a leaking bh valve as I mentioned. Im probably too pedantic.

Anyyywayyy that all aside. It was delivered Wed. The tractor is a beast!!!!!! I love it.

Its all history now. You have the machine and you have many hours of fun ahead of you!

I bought from my local dealer, who is pretty big. They didn't have the tractor in stock, not even in a crate so it was going to take 4 weeks or so. Took a lot longer and I got a little whiny about it. When I picked it up, it was mid June (they were slammed with work), but the tech came out to show me everything, work all of the controls and even gave me a free clevis to help tie it down on my trailer. Dealer prep was perfectly done. I can't complain at all and go to them now for maintenance items and all of my small equipment needs. Probably spent another $3,000 there after the tractor sale.

borderm3, you may be surprised to hear it, but B2650's are in short supply at this time. Son also has one that has been on order for 3 weeks. As badly as the dealer would like to simply pull one off of the yard and deliver it and collect his money, he simply doesn't have one to do that with.

Perhaps there's a good reason for the short supply. The B2650 is a fine tractor. Popular, and for a reason.
