I ended up with the Equalizer WD. Especially with using it on the dump trailer, it has taken multiple adjustments to get it dialed in and performing as it should, but it definitely works. With a full load and without the WD the front end of my truck only lifted about 1/2", but with WD it keeps it at its normal ride height. The rear still drops some but not as much, but from what I have gathered the front end is the key to weight distribution, which is obviously working. It's not much variance with my truck but I am definitely more comfortable with loading the trailer to its capacity without worries of exceeding my hitch ratings. The system is definitely working as you can clearly hear it creeking and squealing now and then, and it does ride much better with a full load.
On a side note, I do have a 2.5" leveling kit on the front of my 2500HD. It is the torsion bar key style which cranks the torsion bar a little. So whatever that may have to do with all of this is questionable. But everyone that sees my truck thinks the rear is sagging with a trailer hooked up when it really isn't. Typically it would just squat to level with the front, but with the leveling kit it appears to be sagging, but it only drops about an inch.
