Should I Cover My New Tractor..???

I agree with 3RRL. I am much happier doing FEL work with my 500 pound box blade hanging off the back with my weighted R-1's. I get a lot less "bounce" ;) as well as more traction and stability :). Jay

Yep, my tractor balances very nicely with loaded tires, box blad on the back, loader up front. A full bucket throws that off a little.

I was using the tractor with the rotary cutter with the FEL off the other day. It is great to have the visibility and maneuverability you get without the loader, but it was very bouncy in that configuration. If I was going to mow a lot with the loader off I'd have to get some front suitcase weights. Unfortunately Kubota seems to think their front weights are made of gold!
