Thanks for your response Al,
Yes, the spring turned out to be part of the Draft control dash-pot. I found the rest of the parts on bottom of case.
And yes, the only way to replace the pump (with multi-power, is to split the tractor.
I found a 1/4" x 5/8" bolt on the bottom of case that I could not see where it could go.
Preliminarily the pump seems to be working good. Will attach a grading box and try it today.

It is working fine. Got some grading done with this heavy 5.5' "Bush Hog grading box. So much that I broke the lower lift arm. Come to find out, it wasn't the right (not as long or thick) one anyways. New one came ups today.
The only thing I worry about is the transmission. I can only find 1st and reverse. For now that's fine. But someday I may sell it and would like to have all the gears working. The shifter just won't go over there. Anyone have any thoughts?
