Do you think we should allow the TBN members make the rules by way of proposing and voting on rules?

Over the years we've tried our best to make rules in the best interest of the community. Doing anything else would be counter-productive. But, maybe it's time for a new way of deciding the community rules.

I voted no with a caveat. I would like to be notified of my infraction when (not if) I commit and I want my infraction public. Perhaps a separate category for public infraction notifications and punishment. I believe this will keep the management honest and even.

Only 7 people have voted so far. There is only one vote difference.

It's not so much who makes the rules it's how the rules are interpreted and applied.

I dinged you in another spot re covid. I think you do a solid job. You also have a place with a lot of smart, interesting people with common interests. There is a group of folks that make a living from crisis (by and large they suck) you don't have to be one.

covid is a damn bug, if you have a success or failure with it, i might b able to apply to me or mine, I would be cranky if you didn't share. It is only politics if we let it be.

It is cancer, it is a back injury, it is old age, all things if we have experience, we might make somebody elses road a little smoother.

Best,

ed

Let the site owner make the rules, with input from community members considered, but the owner's final decision.
