ducatti, I can fed-ex you some of those bugs if you'd like. Great looking garden. Looks so clean. You obviously have a green thumb and are used to hard work to keep it that nice. A lot of man sweat hours. Your soil looks very similar to mine.

Many beautiful gardens to be proud of. My first effort doesn't look anywhere near as nice but I am proud to be eating my first home-grown zucchini. In fact, I can't eat enough of it, it's taking over the kitchen /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Zucchini Apple Pie

Try it. Tastes like apple pie. No apples. Good way to get rid of zucchini.

Also, put it on table by the side of the road with a "FREE" sign and hope people don't think that means they can leave theirs with you! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Moss thanks for the recipe. My wife, Rose said that she has heard of Zucchini Apple Pie but never knew how to make it before this.

Moss, thanks for sharing yet another use for zucchini. I told my wife about it, and she mentioned that there is a "mock" apple pie that can be made from ritz crackers. She said after thinking about it....the zucchini would probably work better.

My 2 sisters go gaga over zucchini and making stuff with them. I will share the recipe.

The people at work are starting to run the other way, when I show up with yet another bag of zucchini. Wonder why? They are all praying for my tomatoes to get ripe.

By the way.... my wife beat me to the first tomato. (that is always a game around my house). It was from the new sugary hybrid plants. These tomatoes look very similar to juliet hybrid, but slightly smaller and are pink!

I will have to eat 12 dozen or so before I can give a report...but early samplings are good.
