All the wiring on my Century tractor started giving me issues. I got so frustrated that I removed all of it and then just wired what I absolutely needed for it to run.
Instead of using a wire to power the solenoid to pull the lever on the injector pump to stop the engine, I attached a manual choke cable to it. I pull it towards me to start the tractor, and push it in to turn it off. It's 100% full proof to work every time!!!
