Shuttle Shift Broken

   / Shuttle Shift Broken #11
Looks like the weld broke. Maybe you can figure out about where it should be based on the markings of the original welds.

Yes, it is very easy to see how it was together and to line it up as it was. It's a simple weld job to put it back as was but I'm hoping some further info I can make it better. I suspect it was not properly aligned and that was causing shifting issues and contributed to the weld breaking in the first place.

I took the seat out and I can see a little bit if I crank my head the right way.
I'm really hoping mine is not a broken shift fork. More than hoping.... I'm almost pleading.

I thought it would be a way bigger task to deal with than it is. The broken shift forks seem reasonably common and I think they are designed poorly, perhaps copied poorly is more accurate. I suspect the issue is a combination of shoddy design, workmanship and materials.

Don't stress about it. Can you share some pictures of up under the skirt of your tractor? If the linkage for the shuttle shift going in to the case is similar I might be able to give you some tips.
