side shift mower....

hey folks.... i just bought a side shift flail mower and im wondering how to plumb the side shift...

my tractor... (iseki t5000) has remotes but no block (hydraulic) for them... how have others plumbed the side shift function?

Hello MF25,

I want to welcome you as the newest member of the Flail Mower Nations from the Southern Hemisphere.

Unless your rear remotes are double acting remotes to create down pressure as well as lift your going to have to invest in new piping and plumbing from the pump control valve for it.

Which brand of flail mower did you purchase? The Side Shift plumbing instructions should have come with the mower parts and operators manual.

How far is your flail mower dealer from your location? They should have helped you with this from the beginning for your purchase.

A side shift flail mower requires a double acting spool valve. Do you have a front end loader with quick connect fittings?? that is the best way to do that. but requires two additional hoses and quick couplers.
