Silverado 2500HD Tires

So by the sounds of it you need a tire that will work all year. I just put coopers rt3 at least that what I think that are on my 2005 duramax with plow. Put them on in fall. So far been great tires. Truck had to go back to the shop multiple times for other "fixed" things and the truck got covered in mud just from my dirt drive. I've never seen such aggressive tires that ain't mud tires . I can get pictures tonight maybe. They are 285/75 but we also put the same tire on our small truck that were 235/55

Buyer beware, really disappointed to find out my new good years with Kevlar made in China! The tires on display in the dealer said USA. On 2013 2500 duramax

Got pictures of one tire. That's about 2,000 miles on them. Have over 1/2in tread so far and we're complete beasts for snow plowing

My 2001.5 Dodge Cummins came with Michelins... great tire probably 3/4 of the year. Next set was Dueler A/T revo II'S, another fairly good tire, but nothing outstanding on deep snow. My current tires are 285/75R16 E Wrangler Dura Trac's... but no snow mileage yet. I have had a set of BFGood All-Terrain T/A's on my ZR2 Blazer... and they are the best snow/ice tire I have ever had. And I live up where you need a fairly good tire. :) Highly rated on TireRack... but they sell the II's now.

I don't really blow off something because of the made in China thing. My iPhone is made in China and like it quite well. While the made in USA feels better, and I would prefer, it is no guarantee of quality. My semi truck, they are built in both Mexico and US. The dealer didn't tell me till later, after they spent 2 weeks fixing factory defect issues before handing it over to me, they were hoping mine would come from Mexico. It was built in NC and the dealer claimed that if they were going to have a problem the odds are it would be with a NC built unit. Well, mine was NC built and the dealer had to correct a laundry list of stuff right out of the gate. Some parts not even installed like they were supposed to be at the factory! Roof air dam brackets, half were missing. With the modern work ethic, I am rapidly becoming less enchanted with the Made in USA marketing thing. In my semi situation, seems the good 'ol boys in NC were more interested in Monday Night Football, the next bass fishing trip, or who was the new chick working at Hooters than they were about quality control in building my semi. The only thing I appreciate about Made in America anymore is that less of the purchase price is going solely to transport costs.
