Here is pic's of lid on the wieght box. the lid is made of 1/4" ply wood and has a notch cut in front center so ply wood will side under the top link and to hold it from siding out I screwed a piece of dowel to the under side of the ply wood so it drops in the 1" square hole on the front edge of the wieght box and painted with Chevy engine orange

Thanks for the pictures. I have added a cover to my list of winter projects.
Filled my weight box with cement to 5" below the top. I don't loose tools, pins and clips in bottom of the box any more.

One thing about Sim's cabs. I have contacted them about a side panel that I need for my Cub 7275. They sell the whole cab assembly. But they told me that the side panel is not made by them. Nor will they answer my 3 emails as to where or who to buy the side panel from. This in my opinion makes them a bad company to deal with. What is the sense of buying from them if you can't buy parts for your cab?

Junkman I use hex dumbells stacked in the weight box, they interlock together nice and tight in the bottom of the box. No I didn't buy them for weight, I use too lift in my prime. See photo

Larry,

I sent an e-mail to Sims and asked if they will sell direct to the public, they said the following:

Dear Tom:

Thank you for your recent inquiry. Yes we do sell directly to the consumer. Customer Service has provided the following information regarding a cab for your Kubota BX2200 with a loader.

Model Number: 52BX22000201A Price: $1,695.00
Shipping Est. (Weighs 140 pounds @ .60 to .70 cents per pound - New Jersey)

My question to you is other then the doors, is any other windows or parts vinyl? How does the price they quoted compare to what you paid from the dealer? If you had to do it again would buy another Sims cab?

Thanks

Tom
