Here are some photos of my new Sims soft cab on my 2015HST.
I ordered it through my dealer, Swantak Mahindra in Oneonta, NY, back in the fall, and originally toyed with the idea of installing it myself. As it turned out, the cabs for the 2615 and 3015 were readily available, but the cabs for the 2015 were backordered. This actually might have been a good thing, because during the wait I had a chance to see the great job Swantak's did on installing a cab on a 2615, and one of the posters in the Kioti forum related the problems he encountered while installing a Sims cab on a CK20, which is a very similar tractor to the 2015. Based on this info, I had my dealer install the cab, and they didn't disappoint. They picked it up on Tuesday and brought it back Thursday; and the fit is neat and tight.
The only thing that concerns me is at the point where the cab side panel passes over the loader control valve, there is a noticeable bulge. I'm not sure how Sims could have avoided that, as the cab is about as wide as it could be at that point, but I'll be watching it closely. If it starts to wear there, I'll have to try and reinforce it somehow.
It's also a bit louder inside the cab than it was without a cab. Sims supplies a heavy floormat to deaden the sound a little, but it's still not an insulated hard cab.
Still and all, I'm extremely pleased. Sure beats having windblown snow coming back to cake my face.
