This is exactly why I didn’t excavate my own pond. Some years after mine was finished a neighbor decided he wanted one for himself. It took him and I roughly 30 days of sitting on a D8 pushing clay to get the job done. 5 days of that was wasted digging the D8 out of the wet clay bottom. No, it wasn't me sitting in the seat at the time (thank God) There’s one job I don’t want to help with again real soon.
