so our property was largely overgrown in many areas due to neglect.

The area in question (this week) was an area that was orginally set aside to grow rasberries that were brought back from CA when the previous owners moved to the propert in the late 70's.

This was the spot we wanted to set the single wide trailer we are getting to live in while we rebuild a new house on the property. (sell our existing house in STL and get our cash out etc)

so without further ado.... This represents (2) half days of work over 2 diffrent weekends. We hope to have the trailer moved onsite by next week as the ground is still frozen hard. they will have to come back and tie it down in a few weeks once they can get ancors in the ground.

Looks like that property is flat and level. I see that as a good place for vegetable garden.;)

;)

in this photo

there is a couple of trees that form a second "row" before the pasture in the (way) background. One of those trees is the peach tree and one of the shallow wells is just to the left of it. just beond that row of trees and before the pasture is the asparagus patch. someplace in there will also be the vegie garden (i will eventually get the pump working (or a new pump) for the well to water the garden with) the property was switched over to city water some time ago, but the wells and cistern still exist on the property.

schmisn: hope the truck that brings in the home has a plow, not sure where you live but we are north of St. Louis they are calling for 8 inch of snow up in the hannibal area. Good luck in beating the weather, up here it has slowed down my work on my garage some. again good luck, looks like a nice place.

Going to be a nice place. Looks like now you have more to do than time to do it.

ya its been a lot of work up till now as we have only had weekends to work over there not to mention expensive.

but once we get the trailer set, we can FINNALLY move forward with selling the STL house and moving out there. ONce that happens then i have allllll the time in the world to work on making it home. ;) get my chickens and goats and vegi garden and and and....

Looks real nice. You'll have to post some pictures of it in the spring time when it's all green out and the trees have there leaves again.
