The left -rear wheel spindle or "fork" was bent when the dealer loaded it and the tractor up on my trailer (2-10-07).

Are you saying that the dealer bent the spindle when he loaded or it was already bent at the time of loading? Either way, you did not bend it and should not be responsible for paying shipping. Tell him that you will be glad to box it up and take it to the post office and send it just as soon as he sends you enough to cover the postage. From a dealer perspective it is the right thing to do. If he wants Sitrex to cover this part he will fork out the money because a new spindle probably costs more than $19. Also on the hole size, the fact that they are different sizes doesn't mean anything other than Sitrex is probably getting there spindles from another supplier or multiple suppliers. When I bought my JD4310 tractor I was looking at two 4310s sitting side by side and notice part differences on a certain part of the tractor. It just means that the manufacturer found a better or less expensive way to do the same thing. Don't worry about the Sitrex mower. They are good quality mowers and I will probably be getting a 6 footer when I get home from Iraq.
