Sizing Pallet Forks

I gave $795 for mine, no tax cause it's for my farm and yes, the PFL 3048 is what I got.

Wow. The guy I talked with here priced me the same for $900.00 plus tax. $100.00 is a pretty good chunk of change. Think I'll take my business elsewhere.

My dealer wants $900 plus tax as well. Somehow seemed a bit high so I added them into an EA order.

Bought the 48 inchers and am glad.

Probably what I'm gonna do. Just got to find a place for delivery. Which one's from EA did you get. I'm wanting 48" also.

Was a bit torn on capacity (the usual weight vs capacity), but ended up going with the Bradco compacts because they only weigh 280 as compared to around 400 and had the option of the 48 which I wanted.

Like them fine so far. Seem well made and fit nicely.

They added very little to the overall shipping as I ordered 3 things. I had them delivered to a freight terminal and picked them up with my trailer. They were shipped assembled with my 60 EA grapple banded on them.

Made it just a little tricky to get the grapple out of the trailer and to the ground from above (no pallets forks yet and the grapple has no central place to hook it) but it worked out.

Thanks for the information. I was leaning toward the Bradco myself. Now for the shipping place........I'm in the middle of bumf*** nowhere. :)

I thought they would ship to local business.

I will look into that.

Just another Mfg. They are in NC. I bought a set from them a couple of years ago, and have been very happy. At that time they were $550. I move round bales so I like 48in. They may be able to supply other sizes. The frames are built on site.

They look nice. Any idea how heavy they are? I've got a smaller tractor, Massey Ferguson 1635, and don't want to get into my lifting capacity too much.

Any feed store, will have a dock or a forklift to unload with. Furniture store? Any store that would normally handle a pallet and you can talk them into helping you. I found a feed/farm ranch store nearby. They didn't mind helping. They didn't have a dock, but they had a forklift, and that is all you need.
