Hmmmmmm, If the hole drilled at the top of the rod isn't through the pipe also, to keep it from turning. Won't the shoes have a tendency to turn sideways and dig in???? /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

Actually these "shoes" should perform more like a ski. The pin in the top of the rod does just hold everything in place. The shoes should turn or track with the blade. Turn and slide rather than dig in.

It rained here today. Temps in the 40's. Northern tier of Wisconsin got freezing rain. Ground still is not frozen in the woods. If it ever snows, I'm hoping these new skid "ski-shoes" will slide over the unfrozen gravel driveway.
