This design is a little different but seems to work very well.

Notice the bullet on the wedge, the 6 way split and the beak on the end for turning logs. .

I really like that splitter. If it had an interchangeable wedge, so that you could also use it like the one in this video, Skid Steer Tree Trimmer and Wood Splitter, it would be perfect
