Skid Steer QA, for Kubota?

I can certainly appreciate your desire for a SSQA......... I recently added one to my B3030. The ability to switch buckets, put on forks, or add a brush grapple is great. If you are looking at the 2920, why not step up one notch and get the B3200? Not sure there is one available for the 3200 yet, but the wheelbase would be better suited to heavier attachments (as was the B7800). Do some investigating on the skidsteer attachments you were thinking about renting. Most are too heavy for the tractors you are looking at, and thirty-or-so HP CUTs don't come anywhere near the hydraulic flow required to run skidsteer attachments.

Thanks! You guy helped a ton!
I checked on the ATI SSQA, but it's a no go on the 2920. It pushs the bucket out about 2.5 inchs, puts a strain on your loader, makes the tractor unstable, and wrecks the warranty on the FEL; which seems contrary to their ad. Sorry John, but I forgot to ask about a price.

I also checked on the 3200 coupler, but like John said it's not the same thing. So this leads me headlong into the L series. That said; this dealer may lose a L3400. Not the HST, but a Shuttle Shift. I don't even know what Shuttle Shift means; but since I'll be climbing a cliff that would make The Man From Snowy River look like Chicken Little it may come in handy. And all this with a Backhoe strapped to my back.

Anyone here know anything about a Shuttle Shift, or a L3400? I know it's a downgrade from the HST, but when you growed up in the Tennessee Hills, with nothing but a plow mule, it's got to be worth something.

I'm having my new B3200 retrofitted with the Skid Steer QA system, and using the smaller "L" series bucket. I think the bucket weight will be similar, but the QA system will add a bit of weight I'm sure. For me...the ability to swap between forks and the bucket will be great.

I'll try to followup with pricing next week. We're waiting on the 3200 Kit to be built, and then I'll know the costs.

Have you priced a small L vs. a large B model? You may be suprised how close they are in price?

You have the ability to swap between bucket and forks with any detachable bucket as long as all items have same attachment system. It's just that the skid steer QA is the easiest, quickest and more universal. I liked the SSQA on my L3240 but I wouldn't pay alot more for it on my B3200 because the changing from bucket to forks is not some thing I do very often. If I did it real often then I'd pay more.

I traded a B7800 for a L3240 then traded the L forward/backward to a B3200 which was less expensive but not a part of the decision. I prefer the B size to the L size because of my hillside, gullied, rocky and some trees residential acreage. I do not agree that bigger is better as most do that maybe haven't moved up to one that's to big. Terrain of land makes a hugh difference in which machine to buy as does jobs being performed by the machine. Money has to be a big factor to consider in all high ticket purchases but buying a cheap sports car to haul the big family isn't wise as buying a tractor based mostly on cost is also unwise.

I did check on the price of a L3400, with shuttle shift. The price was close to the Big B, at 17,500. It has a LA463 FEL, with SSQA. The BH75A is another 7000 dollars. Would anyone reccommend it over the B3200 HST, for about the same price.
I also found a Site that sells SSQA conversions for about $650. They are one of the few sites, I've found, who list prices for all their implements. I'll leave a link; but just in case it doesn't work the site is Rootgrapple.com.
Here's the link. Skid Steer loader attachments
