Ah but when you wake up Monday feeling like youre older than the stuff dirt is made from then it starts to bother one exspecially if one is not that old to begin with.

If you're still looking for hunting pellets, you might look at these two types from Cabelas:
Polymer Pointed Pellets or these Saboted Pellets

Thanks for the link Gary - I used to be able to find the pointed pellets at Wally World, but it seems they stopped carrying them in .22 cal.

The flat nosed pellets seem to do a pretty good job on squirrels at closer range but those pointed ones are even better. I don't really 'hunt' but instead use for nuisance control.

Unless I am lucky and hit the squirrel with a head shot, they seem to only laugh at a ball bearing fired from my wrist rocket. They are some tough critters!

Well, I got a slingshot. You can't buy them in Michigan for some unknown reason, but Toledo, Ohio has 'em and now I have one.

The little furry creatures are going to get a sore butt. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It was $14.00 plus an extra set of rubbers and pocket for $4.00. I have lots of hardened steel balls to use.
