Thanks guys for all the advice. It seems pretty apparent that purchasing a slip clutch should be my next move. I know I'm running with a shear pin, but I think I'll feel a lot better with a slip clutch. I already found a decent length of rusted 2" steel pipe with the squealer on our land which must have been from the people who homesteaded the land originally, and that was enough excitement for me!
