I just checked my '11 model M7040/LA1153 loader cycle time @ 1800 engine rpm's. It took 6+ seconds for boom to raise completely. I'm not going to worry about my tractor as I've had several hay haulers comment on how well my tractor handles 4X5.5 rd bales while unloading them.
PS LA1353 on my loader was a Oldtimers thought as I have a LA1153

Well that very interesting that your loader takes over 6 sec as well. Mine was actually just under the 7 sec. With this in mind maybe I'm not going to be able to increase that stroke time by any great amount. As a follow up to JJ's comments I would still like to stroke that loader at rated rpm just to see the time interval to see if is close to the 4.7sec spec. My dealer has just contacted me and said they have asked Kubota to look at this so I think I'll wait to see what they have to say before I dig too deep. Thanks for going out and stroking that loader for me as now I can compare apples to apples. There are a number of other machines close to me but mainly B's and L's so much smaller loaders.

I think increasing engine speed to maximum will get the FEL cycle time a lot closer to the 4.7 seconds.Also I have the cylinders set for max height position instead of max weight position to aid in unloading rd bales from 18 wheelers

I'll find out tomorrow for sure. I have my loader set in the power position and I don't know what the difference in stroke time would be between the power and height position.
