SLT 1554 drive problem

At the end of May I bought a SLT 1554 and the drive quit working and took it back and got another new one and now it has done the same thing. I find its a spring that keeps breaking has anyone had this problem besides me?

Yeah, real simple fix...have your dealer put a stouter spring on the unit. This is not an an-common problem and that is how we fix them...showed our dealer rep and he OKed us to use the stouter springs and we haven't had a problem since. No big deal!

Well I took it back and they are delivering me another SLT1554. I hope that 3rd time is a charm. I really like the mower except for the spring problem. If I get it to last more than 5 Hrs I will post some pictures and I am also planning on upgrading to a set of AG tires Thanks for reading and help

Well you might have the same problem again. Nothing is wrong with the mowers its quite a simple fix.
