Once upon a time there was lawn. Then my wife became a "Master Gardener" /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Then, with a a lot of compost (and a hired excavator for the rock wall), there was a nurserly garden.

When the third tier started, I started thinking "Tractor w/FEL & BH"! Cut (no pun intended) a deal, any more gardens and I get a tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Absolutley beautiful! I just love gardens, I could look at them all day long. Nice work, and I would get the CUT right away, you never know when she will need some additional work done. Great job!

She changed her mind (get rid of the faux slate), re-grade, and put in a low rock wall. So, heres the 1st re-grade looking down from the front deck.

410 FEL Lift approx. 850#? This stone was definitely more than 850#. I could not lift it but, with approx. 2200# of roll back force at the tip of the FEL, I could chain it to the FEL hooks, drag it from below the house (sorry, too much to work with to be taking pic.'s) and then start figuring on how I'd get it up this little steep hill. The wheels started burying in the soft ramp. So, I sat and thunk a while.

Maybe the BH could drag it from above, with some chain?
