If you can sell it there, lets manufacture more quantity here for you. (I too can contribute on designs, improvements, etc.)

If you people have ideas on small items which can be easily manufactured in quick period, I can help on solid drawings, designs, etc as well as locating a good workshop who can put it in production line quickly. Well, the only problem is marketing and sales. If you can do that in your area, of course, you'll be sole seller there.

(ps: this is not an advertisement, just an idea on what we people here can do somethings real based on your diy projects.)

Very cool Poppey! Your mother-in-law should be happy that you do these projects instead of hanging out in pool halls. :D

What CAD program are you using?

I'm using Autodesk Inventor 2012. Before I useds AutoCad and used the 3d tools draw in 3D. When you learn to use Inventor it's fantastic. You constrain parts or connect them than you can rotate and could find that the PTO drive needs to be reverced. Thanks to 600rider who gave this valuable information I could than see his point. Like the auger rotation, it's easy to get it right.
It aldso include design of sprockets and chain, gears coils etc. But Inventor it expensiveeeeeee.

All right, another Inventor user on board! I have Inventor 2013 along with AutoCAD 2013. I've used AutoCAD since release 9 back in the 80's, and as good as AutoCAD is as a 2D drafting tool, it sorely is lacking as a 3D modeling tool.

I´m only a hobby user but also started AutoCad "trying it out" back in 80´s. I do and have for years done some sketches at work but I seldom spend more than an hour or two. At home I have always some projects going on either on my houses or in my metal engineering workshop. You have a nice and tidy place in Colorado and done some nice projects.

Hi
Here are the design of the rear gearbox. To reverce the rev, I have put in a set of spure gerars Metric module M3 Z40 and further chain and sprocket #60. Than the rev should be correct. I,m putting the drive inside a rectangular tube 150x100x6. The first two images shows shows the drive mounted between plates.
