My project is going very slow. Have been bussy with other stuff but the gearbox is soon ready. Here's a few pics.

Wow awesome gearbox! Great idea to mount it in a piece of square tubing!

This may sound like a dumb question, but will it be sealed and filled with oil?

Thank you. Yes I will make a cover each end, seal it and fill it with oil. The gear will be on the bottom and the sprocket on the top. If I fill a bit less than half the lower gear I belive it should be enough to transfer the oil to the chain. May be I put inn a bull eye as level indicator.
