Neil,
I was suprised myself to learn RBB snakes live right up the east coast. According to Qld Nat parks they are supposed to be shy but the ones I've seen are more arrogant than Anthony Mundine!

Can't wait till winter when we get a bit of snow so I can post a "First Snow Pic" in June and freak-out the yanks!!

Nah I don't think snakes chase too many people.

I think Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) makes us out to be a wild place but it is fine.

Do you get him over there? - I here he is big in the US.

He is a clown and very few of us act that way

Maybe because we have so much space with so little people, some of the wild still exists!!!

Cheers

That's an understatement, isn't it?/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I've only watched two or three episodes, but yes, we do get the Crocodile Hunter.

Neil, we do get Steve Irwin over here and he is very popular. My wife doesn't care for it, but I get a real kick out of watching him. I saw an ad recently for a personal appearance somewhere locally, but can't remember where or when.

Jamie O'Neal and Keith Urban (country singers) are a couple of other popular Aussies lately. Keep sending 'em /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I only hope that you do not get Jerry Springer in Australia! If some Americans think Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) represents Australia, then we do not want people to think America is anything like Jerry Springer. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Can you imagine, some poor person in a third world country just getting TV, and watching one of our crazy shows? What a distorted view they would have of our country!! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif If they watched Springer, then they would think most Americans live in trailer parks, and that our family tree only has one branch! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif We really need to watch what kind of TV we export.

My kids like him. And I liked his FED-X commercail where he gets bit by the snake and says not to worry because they used FED-X to ship the anit-venom. Then some voice off camera says they didn't use FED-X. He looks at the camera and drops to the ground.

Hey, when I was a kid, we used to get the mail delivered twice a day, morning and afternoon. And if you sent something that was a little large and didn't know the postage, the mailman would take it anyway and leave an envelope in your mailbox with a note telling you how much it cost to ship. You'd put the money in the envelope and leave it in the box. Then he'd leave you a thank you note.

I agree, I really like his show. There seems to be so much competition in that type of show now and he manages to stick out of the crowd by being different. At least he seems entheusiastic!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif The other animal show I like which is geared more toward kids is Kratt's Creatures which I think is now called Zaboomafoo. Both of these shows keep me interested for the whole half hour.

As far as Springer goes....at least we now have so many more channel options than before there was cable. There's always something on History or Discovery that will beat just about anything on the networks!

Yes we have Jerry Springer

I did think all you guys lived in Trailers, and all your daughters went out with rap singers who were really dating your ex wifes cousins.

And you all love to get on TV and beat each other up too.

Yes - It is a really crazy view isn't it.

We have the midday crap on TV, which I am sure a lot of bored housewives do watch. We have Oprah, Ricki Lake and Jerry Springer.

Now I think Steve Irwin is a clown, but these shows are plain on crap with a capital C /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif

Cheers

Nah I don't know to much about country music but yes have heard of those guys. You probably know a lot more about them than a lot of us.

OK - I'll admit it - I have a tractor but don't listen to country music /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
