Thank you for the great picture...just one question!

Can you give me the closed and open length of the cylinder and also the total length of the mounting brackets top and bottom?

I do realize that your blower is larger than mine but it will give me a rough idea for my electric actuator fab-job.

Hey you go. I attached a few pictures of it. If you need any more info feel free to ask me. I like the hydraulic system. It's very strong and very reliable.

With all the one lungers/make'break engines still in outbuildings, barn and fish sheds you should get into restoring them. They fetch a good dollar and are fun - a bit heavy to move around but...

Hey Lloyd that was dust on the lens . How goes things across the pond? Got about four hours on my little beast. I'm restoring an old forklift and the tractor helps out moving a few things around. She's just sitting around waiting on the snow.
Those make'in break engines are around these parts. I see them on folks lawns when I'm out riding around on the bike. The old guys around here got a lot of storing about them old engines and everyone had a lot of respect for them. Now that you planted the seed I might have to look into getting one.

How that's new Kioti of yours? Did you get your snow blower set up? I haven't seen any of the new Kioti's yet. I thought the new DK45 HST Cab would have been out by now. Have you seen any yet? You stay well over there buddy. If you get over my way make sure you drop in. We got lots of room and you can take the Bota for a run.

61+ hours so far. Drilled 25+ post holes in less than 2 hours. I have crew of guys coming on Sunday to help with fencing and other work around the property - I am calling in all my favours.

I hope to build a new 10'x20' shed to house all of the implements in before winter.

I drove to NFL about 12 years ago, north of St John's - forgot the name of the cove - and bought 3 Atlantic engines from an older gent. He had over 30 in his collection. Some in mint shape - never used - still in the original shipping crate. He was an engineer on the coastal ferry and picked the engines up from all over. One of the longest drives of my life 18 hrs straight from PO Basque to his house. Was starting the return drive at night and thought of the moose - stopped at he first road side cabin that was open. One of the best trips of my life. The amazing thing about newfoundland is the geological contrasts throughout the province. From sand deserts to majestic fiords.

My only other trip - other than visiting relatives when young - I cycled across the island in my early twenties - let me tell ya - not a h_ll of a lot to see in the middle.....

Go get an engine or two they are a bunch of lot of fun.

Great pictures and information on your chute set-up ! ! I'm assuming those are Kubota kits?? Do the brackets that are bolted to the chute for the cylinder mount have a plate on the inside of the chute, or just washers for the bolts??
