Snow plowing season started.

We got 4”, but i didnt mess with it. Its melting off. Now 4 days of rain predicted. Snow equipment is not yet on tractor.

We had an inch of rain yesterday and another inch is in the forecast for today.

The snowblower is mounted on the tractor, the plow is on the UTV and both are chained up. I'm ready.

There are multiple snow events are in the 10 day forecast. I don't bother with the first few nuisance storms unless the ground is frozen. We're retired and both vehicles are awd and have snow tires.

I don't mind the first two months of winter, it's the last two that bother me. Winter is just too long.

13.5 inches of heavy wet snow here. It brought down several trees across my 1.5 mile private road which hindered the plowing. Took most of the day with the chain saw to cut & plow my way out to the hard road.

Power went out briefly but came back on before I could start the generator. We were lucky, since there are still over 100K without power in the county.

The heavy snow took down my TV antenna and weather station. It will likely take the rest of today to get those back up and working.

Another coastal storm is predicted for Thanksgiving. We're hosting 10 family members, some from out of state.

All this, and it's not even officially Winter yet. I can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store.

Wow! And I was complaining about a 37* morning. It's going to be 80 degrees today, but the humidity is moving back in from the coast on Monday. It's supposed to be a rollercoaster weather week coming up.

Noooo, keep it please. It's been anywhere from 7-10C ( 45-50F) nights for the past week and supposed to go up to 10C today. Even the long range is above freezing days with no snow which I hope stays that way

Only 3" of wet snow here followed by rain. It was lake effect coming back from Lake Mich that got us and it melted before nightfall. Our temps will finally fall after Thanksgiving so it looks like our Fall weather is ending. The Toolcat is all ready for whatever mother nature brings us. More the merrier!

We got 2' from the remnants of the atmospheric river of moisture that came in from the west coast over the weekend. And power was out for most of the weekend. And again this morning, I was happy to go to work to relax as it was a full weekend of snow removal pushing snow and rolling turf.
