A little over anxious there Pawatch. Out in the middle of the blizzard. Lookin' good there. Also - looking cold.

Just came in from clearing the 6 inches we got during the night. Easy job but I already scalped some grassy areas with the rear blower. I think winter came a bit early but its always better than 85 and muggy, in my humble opinion.

Thanks...If I am pushing heavy wet snow, I usually like to get after it when it gets to around 6". Have just always done that.
I also wasn't sure how the Kioti was going to perform traction wise. And your right I was cold
I should have put my Carharts on.

I have been clearing my drive and my parents drive "separate location" which total about 500' feet for a bout 30 years.
Hoping the Kioti makes it a little less labor intensive. I just need to figure out what is going to work best for me.

How does your blower handle the wet snow?

We probably got 8" or so a little north of Easton. SOL was working in Reading and took 6 1/2 hours for a trip that's less than 2 hours to get home. Roads were a mess....

I heard that roads were terrible and amazed at a few of the pictures that was posted of pile ups and stuck vehicles.

Those times when I would be out plowing my mile long gravel driveway in the storm - I'm Eddie Bauer down from the top of my boots to the top of my head. Including my down gloves.

Some times it was for the fun of plowing while it was snowing - some times because I didn't want the snow to get too deep.

However - now that I'm retired- I have another cup of cocoa and wait for the broad daylight to determine my course of action.

Sounds like a good plan!

I prefer to plow after the snow has stopped. I am never in a rush. I have hated snow for 55 years but love the quietness, serenity and beauty of the stuff. I live in Alaska...Go figure!

You may never know quiet until you live is an area like Glennallen. Stand outside on a clear night and the sound of the northern lights can be frighteningly loud.

Yes, the sounds can be amazing. You wouldn't think that the light show would or could be so loud. Two summers ago we had a great crop of red backed voles. Son stopped by for a visit and came running in and said hurry outside and listen. We did and heard the most amazing hum... it was thousands of voles eating grass. Eerie and odd, to say the least.
