I wouldn't count on it,getting all the snow last year that is.I am sure we will get plenty this year also.How do you like the industrial tires in the snow,are they as good as the ag tire?I will have them this winter for the first time. As for the ? about using a blower on a gravel driveway,I have used a snow blower on 700ft of gravel driveway in the past with no problems except for throwing a few rocks now and then,and like others have said I wait until I have a base of snow and the driveway is frozen.I will be using a blower again this year as it is by far my best way to get the snow out of the way.

I'm using my Econor snow blower on a gravel driveway as well. I've thrown an occasional rock too.

The only things the snow blower doesn't handle well are tree branches blown down by the wind and hidden in the snow. Those have cost me a few shear bolts. But they can happen on an asphalt driveway as well.

The gravel is no problem and once you have a good base and everything is frozen, you rarely throw any rocks any more.

Part of my spring lay-up maintenance is to shoot some spray paint on the areas where the gravel erosion has left bare metal.

We woke up to 1 inch on the ground this morning and they said tonight in tomorrow we will be getting 7 inches in the higher elevations /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
