SNOW

I can see no reason that front chains would cause a problem on a 4wd tractor. No matter what the conditions, you are going to have a small amount of slippage. I ran front bar chains on my old JD 870 for 24 hours straight plowing roads, driveways and parking lots and never experienced any problem with tearing up the front end. If I had not had those front chains on I would have definately not been able go where I went. I will continue to use fronts chains on my tractors if needed, but thats me. You have to make up your own mind if its OK .

Merry Christmas and Let It Snow!
