I just got a Craftsman riding mower with the snowblower attachment on it. Got it running today and the augers are “on” or engaged even with the manual type PTO disengaged. I am obviously missing something - wonder if anyone can shed light on what that is.

Thanks in advance. Thinking a return spring underneath where PTO engages belt to the snowblower may be missing…

Thank you.

Jay

What is the model number and year manufacture of your Craftsman?
