My neighbors 47 throws snow 30' at least-not sure how much more is needed...

Same here , I 'm blowing snow 6-7' in height and back 20-30' . Not sure what you are trying to gain ?????

I had a 1/2" gap between the impeller and housing on my 59". I put strip of 1/4" thick high density plastic inside the housing as a liner. Riveted it in place. It made a world of difference. Almost tripled the distance of throw and prevented plugging in wet and light snow.
I believe the paddle kit will work for you. If you added a plastic liner too . . . I can imagine using less RPM and power to do the same work.

I cut it from leftover manger liner a local farmer had. Not sure where you'd find it in your area. Got an Ag. plastic dealer?

I put that kit on a 42" Haban single stage thrower on a L&G tractor. It made a huge improvement... especially with wet snow.
My new rig has a JD 44" two stage with a plastic impeller. The shape of the impeller blades don't lend it to adding the kit... I wish it did.
If your JD 47" has a metal impeller you'll like the kit.
