john deere 425
i have a john deere 425 with a 47" snowblower have my hydraulic lines hooked up but the snowblower won't raise or lower. double checked hydraulic lines ok any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Reset your QD's if you have them.

Is the snowblower on the front or back?

Does the hyd lines flex when you try to lift?

Remove hoses from loader valve work port for the lift spool.

Push the lever to see if fluid flows. Just a little push.

Then note if the hose is going to the lift cyls.

The nut that holds the piston on the shaft might have came off, and that will let flow freely.
