I'm wondering how our friends in Buffalo are making out. I'm thinking a snow blower might be the useful tool there with 3' in 10 hrs.

Wondering this myself... wife and I are headed that way on Friday morning. Weather websites are saying the snow will last into Friday afternoon. We may have to cancel.

Been planning this weekend of hunting for months now..... pissah.

don't count it cancelling yet, depending on where you are headed.. these bands are quite localized and the majority of the
state is just gettin cold/flurries. the bands are setup south of buffalo, and another one up towards adams center off
lake ontario. projected to drift south as the week goes on.

Headed to Adams... naturally!

so you dig your way to the cabin, start a fire, and
have a few drinks, play some cards, eat like kings and
say you didn't see anything, sounds like fun!

I'd be plowing once every three hours at that rate. No es bueno if you let it all accumulate before heading out.

Ahhh, the good old days! Grew up in Syracuse. On the bright side, had my new Husqvarna snow blower (for the dooryard and dogs racetrack) delivered today. The snow edge at the ready for the DK, and the sleds all ready. C'mon winter!

Just finished blowing my driveway and my neighbors, only had about a foot, but the main storm line is about 7 mi north of me. Like the snow wasn't bad enough, my power is out too. Was supposed to be back on at 7, now they say 10. Will never be without a generator!

We had Snow on the ground two days ago; mowed the lawn today. Well, actually what I did was mulch up the 10 tons of leaves on my yard and maybe clip a few winter weeds that were sticking their heads up. Any way, makes the neighbor's lawns look bad.

Dang. That'd be awful for me to have that much snow. I'd move somewhere else after getting that much snow. We had an inch of the stuff a few days ago and now it's about melted.

Thank goodness we didn't see that much. Someone needs to find the valve to that snow and turn it off. lol

I guess it's all what you get use to or are brought up with . As for me I 'll put up with some snow (not that much though ) as we don't get tornado's and floods like some unlucky people do .

It's official, we called off the trip. Rescheduled it for Dec 5th.... so if this all happens again on that weekend, you know who to blame.

Hoping the best for all our tractor buddies up that way.
