Nathan;

Coobie and Coyote Machine make some very good points.
Perhaps it would be helpful if Whittemore and Sons replied to this thread and let us know what (if any) parts were defective. It sounds like Kioti and Whittemore are doing everything for you short of giving you a refund, and yet you still trash them both on here and on facebook. I think you have another agenda.

In the meantime, best wishes on the sale of your home, and the construction of Kanuwodi.

Nathan;

Several months ago you said that you plan to sell your home to finance the construction of Kanuwodi.

I see that you are now selling your home as planned, so I guess its going to happen.

When do you plan to start construction?
Please keep us posted with pictures as Kanuwodi unfolds.
Perhaps there will be enough money left over so you can trade in your Kioti on a different brand.
Dude don't get him off on another tangent, he is already flittering around from one woe to another. Lets stay on subject here.

You do realize that LaK gets more hits on his tractor woes than almost any other thread? He is like a streaker at a Football game, everyone watches and then everyone wants to talk about it.

This is getting boring and old fast.
And I know I don't have to read the post.

This is my first time to read this, but I too tend to question the writer. I don't think a credible dealer is going to tell you to get the lawyers involved because he will be named as well. Kioti does call it's dealers back and they do try to solve the issue w/ the dealer.
I doubt very highly that they are going to refund you or give a new tractor (not), in your dreams! Also,it's not Kioti's decision to give a loaner. That is a dealer level decision. If he deems you a great customer and worthy of a loaner he might do so, but it is out of his pocket, not Kioti.

So I think you ought to lay off Kioti a little and basically start over w/ the dealer. And remember, there are two sides to every story.

I can believe a mechanic at the dealer said to contact a lawyer, but not dealer management/owners. They are intertwined in this situation and would be part of the lawsuit. It would be the same as saying sue me! I get the feeling we are not getting the full picture. All businesses have one driving force. "Profit". Profit is not a bad thing when dealing with large companies looking to increase there brand recognition and longevity. It makes them act in a certain way. They protect their brand name. That is why there are thousands of post on this forum alone, of customers who are satisfied with Kioti equipment and customer service. Ford, Chevy, John Deere, Cat, etc. have a small number of cases of flawed equipment. They fix it, because it is in the best interest of the Company sometimes even when it is the operators fault. Kioti is just the same. There is more to this and the mechanics / electronics of this are not that hard. The starting circuit is basically the same on every piece of equipment. As a mechanic and automotive electrical repair tech, I would be ashamed that this was not fixed in the first few days. The fact is a simple glaring problem. The mechanic at the your dealership know nothing about electrical troubleshooting. It is the dealership who is the problem, and it sounds as if they are blaming someone else. Electricity act a certain way and this does not change for brands. You need a real mechanic and troubleshooter.

Any sign of that tractor yet? It sounds like Whittemore is making every effort to ensure your Kioti is problem free when it returns.

After reading the reviews of the DK40SE HST on this site, you stand alone in the nature and extent of your negative comments. You may be inclined to update your review some time in the future.

On a different, but much more exciting topic, congratulations on selling your home for charity. There are very few people, if any, that would sell their home and donate that money to the less fortunate. It's hard to believe. You must be very much admired and appreciated in your community.

TBN members have heard so much about your Kanuwodi art retreat, but not very much about the school. So what are you building first? Kanuwodi , or the school? Where are you building the school?
Again, congratulations on selling your home to finance the charity projects. . Please post pictures of Kanuwodi and the new school during construction, and pictures of that Kioti hard at work.
