3-Point Hitch So, Can i adjust the amount of drop / travel downward on my bx2360 rear hitch

It's awesome the way folks fix problems and help others who have similar troubles. I can imagine Kubota taking note that some BX people are having trouble lifting certain implements high enough to clear the ground with their 3 point. Solution------rotate the liftarms higher on the splines---problem solved--------ummmmmm except that now the 3 point arms will only lower to around 9 inches. OK for some things but not so much for others. Not to worry----someone will figure a way to fix it.

Somebody already mentioned it but it sounds like your vertical lift arms are mounted to the "wrong" holes on the horizontal lower lift arms.

Choose holes that are closest to the tractor for mounting the vertical arms and you will get the greatest lowering.

Buying another adjustable (threaded) vertical arm is also a good suggestion.

Here is a bad suggestion...you could cut the solid vertical lift arm and weld in an extension. That would be a last and desperate recommendation.

I suggest that when you buy or rent a implement measure the height of the lift arm pins. It should be at least 3-4" higher than the the lift arms on the tractor when they are fully lowered. At least the BX does lift higher than any other SCUT.
