I don't know why NH puts steering brakes on their HST models. There's no way I can use mine without sitting side-saddle, and *that* would leave my clutch pedal unattended. Suggestions welcome.

My B26 is the same with HST pedal and brakes on the same side but with a little leg crossing they can be used, but not easily. If I had a lot more enthusiasm, I would look at moving them to the opposite side, but I need them so infrequently that it isn't worth the effort as long as I can contort my legs and make it as they are.

ooh-ooh, Tire Chains Our Us (or whatever they call themselves) even has skidder type ring chains for your size. Get those! get those! (of course nothing in my avatar influenced this recommendation)
