Posts planted now the fun part. Had crystal chase a craigs list ad today got this torch for 100. Id planned to get 30air but that just didnt work out. Im glad its not a victor. I bought brand unknown and site unseen. Headed home now to see if it works. Hooefully the bottles i bought 10 years ago didnt leak.

I guess those are too tall for the horse to jump over.

Bought 50", ive got some barb wire at 48" seen a few horses run through 4ft tall fence but never jump it.

Torch seems to work well. I bought 2 7/8 coping tool. The tool is awesome and im suprised how well the torch is working i make the cut then ooen the cope up with flap disc and its a perfect fit. I did 8 posts in about 2 hours and that was the wife and i figuring out top rail height. The barn front is set up for a gate in the middle. Itl eventually have posts coped off the top rail going up and then be sheeted in with metal walls and a opening in center.
The barn looks unfinished because that high point us the ridge. Some day ill ad on or build a 4 or 6ft drop down to creat the ridge. Were undecided on its size it may get a tack room exstended 10ft or so towards the camera.

For now its lean too with a fence going through it.

Torch was very much worth 100 to me. Came with extra new cutting tips a welding tip and im guessing a rose bud tip. However it does have a few leaks in 50ft of hose.

Have probly 2000ft to go ounce this 370ft is done ;)

Looks good!
Will you be stretching wire or welding on smaller pipes to close it in?

Ohhhh man. Arc blow is a ***** i found one top rail i could barely weld. Tried ac dc wrapping ground cable around it.
I could stuff the rod with arc dancing around the side. Next top rail it welded easy.
Frustrating.

One thing that might help. Heat the weld zone red hot, and let cool before welding.

Gona try some difrent rod today. Xx100 my moms former husband left it at her place. Its unopened about 100lbs worth. Hes a cowboy. When i say that im not joking, makes his living pushing cows training horses and fixing/building fence.
I looked up rod and it's exspensive. Like 80-100$ for 10lbs.
Might be the holy grail farmer rod

Coming up on the other property line. I mig that line im not going to do bad welds over where snobby horse people are. They like over paying, i could reel in alittle work with this fence.
With crystal driving we could mig down a fence line in a hurry
