So many trailer manufacturers to choose from...

I looked at a LOT of trailers before I purchased. I ended up buying a 20' 11K PJ trailer and thought it was overly built.

Box tubing is a plus.
In the rust belt it's not. What happens is the exterior looks fine and nicely painted but it rots out from the inside in a few years. You can never really paint the inside of it, clean it or inspect it. C channel is where its at.

To the OP if you want a decent trailer at a good price you really need to buy localy. That may mean a 5hr drive but the cost to ship a trailer across the country is added into the price.

If your any where near PA or OH check out appliacian trailer. Saved about $1300 buying from them vs many local dealers on a 20" 10k equipment trailer in 2022. I have alreaty put thousands of miles on it with no issues.

I should note too that there 10k 20' equipment trailers curb weight is the same as the 12k 20'. I asked them about this and they confirmed that they just use 12k axles in the 12k version. So it's not just "XXXXX" brand that "over builts" there trailers.

Since this thread is active again, does anybody have experience with Triple Crown trailers? They seem to be the least expensive around here right now but is that because they are cheap?
