while driving yestorday i saw this at a auto parts store and thought i'd see what ya'll had to say. This is the first time i have ever seen a gooseneck pulled by a compact truck. if i had to guess i would say that it had an 18 to 20 bed. i don't remember if it had 6 or 8 lug axles so its ether a 10k or 14k trailer. i'm thinking that that trailer weighs 2500 lbs maybe more. The real question is what does he pull with it. So would you want to be behind it and do you think its safe? I think he is ok. . . he has a roll bar:D

What would have been real funny is if he had a dozer or full size excavator on it :D. I quess he could be pulling something really lite like foam insulation or something?

Maybe he was just delivering a trailer to a customer. He surely doesnt have the HP to pull it loaded or the weight to stop it.

Thanks for the moring laugh!. I imagine hes just delivering the trailer or carrying light stuff as others have said. No way theres enough braking power there for anything too large.

As long as its empty..... or loaded with something really light, I'm not concerned about him towing that trailer with a mini-pickup. What i AM concerned about is that guy he ran over that appears to be still stuck under the back of the trailer !!!:eek:

My BIL used to pull a gooseneck trailer similar to the one shown with his small Nissan.

I wish I could haul my BX on a trailer behind my Toyota Nissan or Dodge D50 pick ups.
That would be great and I would not have to buy a big full size clumsy awkward truck that I hate.

Ha ha ha. Great pics.

I have an aquaintance who once got a HUGE fake rock and brought it home on a small single axle trailer behind his car.

He had a CB radio and listened to all of the truckers talking about "the idiot with the 5 ton rock behind his buick". :D

I don't see any problem, if the trailer has brakes, and with a 25 MPH speed limit there.:)
