I think if you look back probably the day after the original thread was removed the moderator posted an explanation stating that Neil had ask that his thread be removed. What more explanation was needed?

ahh...........
There was a time lag. And if you had been posting within a certain time frame it certainly looked like something was amiss. Nuff said.

A dealer the size of you, and Kubota is going to bust your chops? I bet I know a company that would be GREEN with envy to have you sell their tractors.:D
I was ready to go orange but what I have been reading here latley and how this company responds to its customers, when there are issues with their tractors. I would have a hard time giving them(not you) my money.
Just seems like the tail is wagging the dog.

 Deere is the same way and has done this and more in the past. I am not a Kubota guy and don't even own one but to say any other tractor company is better because of this only tells me and everyone else that the poster is ill informed. All OEM's have guidelines as to how their information is released. They all have and will do this type of thing. Kubota isn't doing anything different then the other OEM's when it comes to releasing new information.

And I have had friends attend the Deere meetings and post pics and info only to have Deere Corp make them remove the information. Case-IH actually threatened one farm they tested equipment on because of an employee leak. The OEM's are very touchy to new information and as the OEM they have the final say on how it should be released.

But if buying a green tractor makes you feel better and this is the reason you choose to buy it then go ahead and make an excellent purchase:rolleyes:

Hi,
We are happy to share what we can with shoppers.
But the few 08s models are not here or for sale at this time.
The best deals are on the dealer lots today.
Todays stock are time tested products, with great sales programs and low financing as well.
Best wishes,
Steve

I am in the process right now of shopping for a new garden tractor to replace my two vintage Cub Cadets (123 and 1450) and to suppliment my NH 1715. So I contact a large local Kubota dealer because their line of 4wd garden tractors look nice. I was quoted pre-order prices on three of the 2008 models as the 2007 models I was interested in were out of stock (very large dealer too).
So are some of the dealers giving out info and others not? Although this dealer didn't have specifics on the specifications for the new machines, you could tell by some of the model designations the new hp figures, deck widths etc. And the pre-order pricing was very competitive, surprisingly so in fact.

In the GR size range which I believe you are refering to the new models were more of an in-line change and they are coming in day to day. The spec's are basically the same as the older models.

Yup, I already have the new ones. I suspect most dealers who ordered them early probably do. Its just an incrimental change, nothing major.

Good morning,
We were being swamped with info and quote request for the few 08 models and losing focus on all the products we have for sell now.

We do not know "for sure" what the prices, specs, delivery dates, finance deals, etc that may be available in 08. Therefore, we decided to wait until we could have these details before we starting promoting the products.

It was our decision without pressure from the mfg. As soon as we have the details, we'll be out front with selling efforts.
Best wishes,
Steve
