Can't recall the last time I saw a grease zerk on an automobile. Why are there so many fittings on a tractor? My car has 151K miles on it and I have greased only the door mechanism and the hood release. In the old days there were probably a dozen grease fittings on a car. How many now?

On that subject, what's the best way to remove the grease from where it was smeared to? I have grease smear on every parts of the tractor, even the yellow flashing lights and the ROPS!

WD-40 on a rag or paper towel.

Grease caps

I put these yellow grease caps on all the grease zerks. Makes it easier to find the grease points and keeps the zerks clean.
